Hearing and Visual Impairment

This course is approximately 15 minutes long. The hearing and visual impairment course is designed to equip caregivers with the skills and knowledge to identify and handle when a family member or client has hearing or visual impairment. Learners will learn what hearing/visual impairment is, its causes, types and degrees of each impairment. They will also learn signs a loved one has hearing or visual impairment and how to talk to them. Learners will also learn how emotionally and physically to support clients with hearing or visual impairments.
