This 60-minute course is designed to help health care aides recognize, understand and manage implicit bias in their daily practice. Through real-world scenarios, reflection activities and practical strategies, learners will see the difference between implicit and explicit bias and why it matters in health care and how bias shows up in everyday caregiving situations. The 'Managing Urinary Incontinence' course is approximately 30 minutes long and is designed to provide Home Care Aides with the knowledge and skills they need to navigate care for a patient with urinary incontinence. Participants will learn about the different types of urinary incontinence that their patients may have, symptoms and possible causes. More importantly, they will learn practical tips for helping their patients manage incontinence while keeping them looking good and independent.

Taking this course and the quiz and reviewing the additional resources would take a total of 60 minutes. This provides a comprehensive overview of oxygen therapy, a crucial medical treatment for individuals with insufficient oxygen intake, covering its purpose, clinical applications, delivery methods, safety precautions, and support strategies. Learners will gain an understanding and competency in monitoring patients to identify early signs of stroke and perform an appropriate emergency response for cases of stroke.
