Participants will learn to recognize signs of elder abuse, differentiate normal aging from cognitive changes that may indicate disease, understand common chronic conditions, provide support for individuals at the end of life and promote healthy aging through person-centered care. This course equips caregivers and support staff with the skills necessary to enhance dignity, independence and quality of life for older adults across various care settings.
