About this course

This course is approximately 30 minutes long and is designed to give caregivers the knowledge and tools they need to help a loved one with diabetes eat a healthy diet. Learners will learn the fundamental principles of a diabetes-friendly diet, including carbohydrate control, portion control and meal planning strategies to help manage blood glucose levels effectively. They will also learn how to prevent extreme highs and lows in blood glucose levels and select the best foods from available options.
